Automation and Instrumentation

Power Plant Cooling Tower Control and Monitoring System

The intelligent cooling tower control system adjusts the fan speed based on the temperature of the water exiting the cooling tower. During times of the day, month, or season when the air temperature is lower and there is no need for the cooling tower to operate at maximum speed, reducing the fan speed saves electricity, reduces evaporation, and decreases water splash, leading to overall savings.

- Wind Tunnel Control and Monitoring System

The wind tunnel control system enables the operator to adjust airflow conditions such as speed and temperature and also records data during the experiments. This system includes a control panel, data collection devices, and software for data analysis.

Design and Production of Various Antennas

In the electronics and telecommunications industry, Moj Pardazan Alborz undertakes the complete design, manufacturing, and implementation of various types of radio and microwave antennas across VHF, UHF, L, S, C, X, and KU bands from start to finish. The different types of antennas based on their physical structure are as follows:

  • - Horn and Waveguide Antennas: A horn antenna consists of a metal waveguide shaped like a horn and is used for transmitting or receiving radio waves. These antennas are widely used in microwave frequencies and UHF above 300 MHz, often serving as feeders for larger antennas like reflector antennas.
  • PCB-Based Antennas: A microstrip antenna is fabricated using photolithography techniques on a printed circuit board (PCB) and is primarily used in microwave frequencies and monopulse antennas. Most microstrip antennas consist of multiple patches arranged in a two-dimensional array.
  • Reflector and Lens Antennas: A parabolic or dish antenna is a high-gain reflective antenna used for radio, television, data communications, and radio positioning systems in UHF, SHF, and microwave bands. These antennas are commonly used for point-to-point communications, such as microwave relay links, wireless WAN and LAN data transmission, spacecraft communication, and in radio telescopes. Lenses can also be used to increase the gain of these antennas.
  • Logarithmic Antennas: Log-periodic dipole arrays (LPDA) and spiral antennas have very wide bandwidths, with radiation perpendicular to the antenna. Due to their compact size and beamwidth of approximately 70 to 90 degrees, these antennas are widely used for receiving internet signals, mobile phone signals, and GPS systems.

Modulators and Power Supplies for 10MeV Electron Accelerator

Moj Pardazan Alborz, in a pioneering project, has designed and manufactured power amplifiers for a 10MeV electron accelerator. This project includes the development of modulators and power supplies used for generating and amplifying electronic signals in high-power accelerators. By employing advanced components and modern technologies, the company has achieved a new level of precision and efficiency in electron accelerator performance. This achievement not only enhances the power and quality of electron beams but also plays a significant role in improving industrial and research applications of accelerators.

Modulators and Power Supplies for 6MeV Medical Accelerator

Linear accelerators (linacs) are radiation therapy systems designed to produce electron beams or X-ray photons with varying energies, from low to high, for the treatment of cancerous tissues. Low-energy systems, ranging from 4 to 6 MeV, are commonly used for treating tumors in areas such as the head and neck.
